PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nail cutting tool or a nail cutting tool cover capable of eliminating the need of complicated positioning of a nail to a cutting blade, safely and surely carrying out nail cutting and easily coping with the adjustment of a cutting length as well further. SOLUTION: In the constitution that the cutting blades 10 and 20 are provided on respective tip parts facing each other separately at an appropriate distance of an upper blade plate 1 and a lower blade plate 2 connected at base parts and the nail of a finger or a toe inserted between both cutting blades 10 and 20 is cut by bringing the cutting blades 10 and 20 close and abutting them by the operation of a pressing plate 3 for adding pressurizing force to the upper blade plate 1, a spacer 5 disposed so as to abut the tip of the finger or the toe along the outer side of the cutting blade 20 of the lower blade plate 2 is provided.
