<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image transmission apparatus and system capable of improving security in image transmission. <P>SOLUTION: The image transmission system comprises an image transmission apparatus 200 and an image storage device 250 which are connected with each other via a network 208. The image transmission apparatus 200 comprises an image compression section 202 for digitizing and compressing input image data, an identifier calculation section 207 for calculating an identifier of the compressed image data, a CPU 204 for adding the calculated identifier to the compressed image data, and a network I/F 210 for transmitting the image data added with the identifier to the image storage device 250 via the network 208. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
