PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera system where an operation is easy in photographing in which a camera is held in a plurality of different postures. SOLUTION: A first operation member with which an input operation is possible in a lateral position is arranged in a body unit 50 of the camera. A second operation member with which the input operation of the camera is possible in a vertical position is arranged in a power battery holder 10 mounted on the body unit 50. A posture sensor 82 in the body unit 50 detects whether the camera is in the lateral position or the vertical position.
