PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise the degree of freedom for setting the period of the fake pendulum, in a pendulum driving device of a clock having a fake pendulum. SOLUTION: The pendulum driving circuit and the pendulum fixing part are separated discretely into an upper part and a lower part, a frame capable of inversely setting is provided, and a pair of upper/lower swing fulcrums are provided at the pendulum fixing part. On the pendulum rod for fixing the fake pendulum supported by the pendulum fixing part a pair of upper/lower bearing parts are provided corresponding to a pair of upper/lower swing fulcrum part, and the lower bearing part of upper/lower bearings is made to support the lower swinging fulcrum freely and swingingly, corresponding to the upper/lower inversion positions of the frame and the upper/lower inversion positions of the pendulum rod. Further more, a permanent magnet for giving the swinging motion to the pendulum rod is provided in corporation with the pendulum driving circuit, regardless of upper/lower inversion positions of the pendulum rod and the frame.
