PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat insulating material for piping convenient to manage stock of products and possible to be diverted in part thereof between a suspension type and a floor type. SOLUTION: The heat insulating material for piping has a structure for holding pipes in the circular inner peripheral surface of a nearly annular or doughnut-like heat insulating main body and for supporting the pipes by fitting pipe supports to the annular or doughnut-like outer peripheral surface, and the heat insulating material is divided into two of a master split piece and a slave split piece by two opposite notched surfaces in parallel with a piping direction.
