摘要 PURPOSE: A space type data inputting system and method is provided to input position data on a three dimensional space of an object without an external datum signal or object by using a two axial acceleration sensor. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises an accelerometer(210), a movement sensor(220), a signal estimator(230), an acceleration calculator(240), the first integrator(250), the second integrator(260), and a position error compensator(270). The accelerometer(210) senses accelerations of an object in the X and the Y axis. The movement sensor(220) checks whether the object is moved by using the signals sensed the accelerometer(210). The signal estimator(230) estimates an acceleration of the object in the Z axis, and an Euler angle by using the signals sensed the accelerometer(210). The acceleration calculator(240) calculates an acceleration in an absolute coordinate by using the sensed accelerations, the estimated acceleration, and the Euler angle. The first integrator(250) calculates a speed of the object by integrating the calculated acceleration. The second integrator(260) calculates a position of the object by integrating the calculated speed. The position error compensator(270) compensates for the calculated position by performing a zero velocity compensation operation.
