<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transmission system capable of suppressing the deterioration of signal light transmission quality by making the deviation of respective SN ratios of signal light of a multiwavelength small in a light receiving part. <P>SOLUTION: The intensity of signal light outputted from light source parts 11<SB>1</SB>to 11<SB>N</SB>is set by signal light intensity setting parts 12<SB>1</SB>to 12<SB>N</SB>, then multiplexed by an optical multiplexing part 13, optically amplified by an optical amplifier 14 and outputted to an optical transmission path 30. The signal light of the multiwavelength transmitted to the optical transmission path 30 arriving at an optical receiver 20 is demultiplexed by an optical demultiplexer 21 in each wavelength and the signal light of each wavelength is received by light receiving parts 22<SB>1</SB>to 22<SB>N</SB>. The signal light intensity setting parts 12<SB>1</SB>to 12<SB>N</SB>set the light intensity of the signal light of each wavelength outputted from an optical transmitter 10 in accordance with a bandwidth of an optical filter to the signal light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
