PURPOSE: A method for analyzing specimen using integrated lance and strip is provided to draw a body fluid on a lance element by using a surface tension of the body fluid. CONSTITUTION: A lance electrode is composed of a lancing element(22), a separation element(24), and a connector. The lancing element includes a sharp end point(38). The separation element includes a second end point adjacent to the lancing element. The connector connects a portion in a proximity from the lancing element to a portion in a proximity from the separation element, and forms a channel. The lancing element is inserted to a skin to form an incision portion. The separation element is inserted to further open the incision. The lancing element and the separation element are maintained in the incision while body fluids are drawn into a space between the lancing element and the separation element. |
