PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pyrolytic melting device preventing accumulation and solidification of molten slag in a slag chute upper part. SOLUTION: In the pyrolytic melting device, since an edge 35 surrounding a slag outlet 25 and having a cross section protruding acutely downward is formed on a face of a slag chute 27 side around the slag outlet 25, the molten slag 26 drops into a space in the slag chute 27 from a tip of the edge 35, and accumulation/solidification along a ceiling face of the slag chute 27 can be effectively prevented.
