<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for managing voting ticket sales and a program for managing voting ticket sales which can efficiently sell voting tickets having regional characteristics, while taking advantage of network characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: A user terminal 10 transmits a request for the purchase of a lottery to a sales management system 20 via the Internet I. A management computer 21 requests settlement of a sales cost to a financial institution host system 30. When the settlement processing is completed, the management computer 21 converts the address of the member, who has purchased the lottery, into a sales floor space code. Then, the computer transmits a ticket issuance request, including data related to the member ID, descriptions of the lottery and the selling space code to a ticket issuing center 40.
