PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat device for a vehicle capable of setting an appropriate seat condition and steering condition in accordance with a traveling circumstance of a road for the own vehicle to travel. SOLUTION: The seat device for the vehicle is provided with a tilt telescopic drive control part 112 controlling a tilt angle and telescopic position of a steering wheel, an upper seat back drive control part 109 controlling a tilt angle of an upper seat back, a lower seat back drive control part 106 controlling the inclination angle of a lower seat back, a slide drive control part 103 controlling a slide position of a driver's seat, and a road circumstance information providing means 115 detecting the traveling circumstance for the vehicle. When the road circumstance information providing means 115 detects that the vehicle is traveling on an expressway, the upper seat back, the lower seat back, the seat slide position and the tilt angle and telescopic position of the steering wheel are automatically adjusted to prescribed positions.
