The invention relates to a rigid frog for switch points and crossings, and to a process for manufacturing the same, used for manufacturing railroads for trains and tramways. The rigid frog for point switches and crossings has two side rails (1,2) and a frog point (3, 6, 4, 5) situated therebetween, said frog point together with the side rails form switch openings, that run at an acute angle relative to one another. The rails are elastically joined by some anchor clamps to some ribbed plates (247-253), on either side of the foot. Beneath the rails there are some intermediary height adjustment spacers (42), so that the run-out of the side rail tracks may be compensated by the thickness of the spacers. In order to avoid the displacement of the point to the two side rails (1 and 2), the end area is provided with an anticreep device (30) having a corresponding shape.
