PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet metal folding apparatus which enables an operator to receive instructions for die arrangement plans and folding near corresponding dies when a plurality of upper dies and lower dies are arranged on an upper table and a lower table, respectively, and folding work is sequentially carried out. SOLUTION: A controller 1 attached by means of link mechanisms 1d to a moving base 1c laterally movably attached along guide rails 1a installed on the front of the upper table 6 is provided with operation switches 5 in a lump for making the folding apparatus movable and the working information from a programming system is received and the die arrangement plan information is displayed on a display screen.
