<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera capable of managing the contents of a series of photographed images in an easily understandable way. <P>SOLUTION: The digital camera is provided with: a means for discriminating whether an identification index image corresponding to an external apparatus is recorded on a recording medium in communication with the external apparatus via a communication means; and a means for requesting the external apparatus to transmit the identification index image when the absence of the identification index image is discriminated, recording the received identification index image on the recording medium, creating an image folder corresponding to the identification index image on the recording medium, thereafter receiving an image file transmitted from the external apparatus, storing the received image file in the created image folder, and storing the image file received from the external apparatus to the image folder corresponding to the identification index image when the presence of the identification index image is discriminated. Then in the case of displaying the image folders as a list at reproduction, the identification index image recorded corresponding to each image folder is displayed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
