PURPOSE: A variable cooling fan system of a power steering pump is provided to secure cooling efficiency from in high speed to in low speed driving properly and to improve NVH(Noise Vibration Harshness) efficiency in middle/low speed by reducing noise in driving the power steering pump in low speed. CONSTITUTION: A variable cooling fan system comprises plural cooling fans(3), a fan housing(5) and a return spring(7). Plural cooling fans are installed to a pulley(1) of a power steering pump(13) to be moved vertically to a radial direction. The fan housing is installed to the pulley of the power steering pump to guide movement of cooling fans. The return spring supports elastically cooling fans toward a central direction of the pulley of the power steering pump. The return spring is composed of a pressure coil spring installed between an inner part of a flange(9) of the pulley of the power steering pump and a bent part(11) of the cooling fan.
