PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new transmitting means capable of realizing, in a simple constitution, transmission from a motor rotated in response to an operation of a steering member to a steering shaft moving for steering in the shaft length direction. SOLUTION: A belt pulley 40 is mounted to a motor shaft 31 of the motor 3, a spiral belt groove 42 is formed in the outer peripheral surface of the steering shaft 1, and a transmission belt 43 that is wound about the belt pulley 40 and the belt groove 42 a plurality of times is suspended between them. The transmission belt 43 is rotated between the belt pulley 40 and the belt groove 42 by the rotation of the belt pulley 40 by the transmission from the motor 3, and the steering shaft 1 is moved in the shaft length direction by an operation of axial component force generated by the tilting of the belt groove 42.
