PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slope-descending speed control device that shows enhanced controllability when a vehicle travels on a downhill road. SOLUTION: Data set by a steering angle setting switch 50a and a slope-descending inclined angle setting switch 50b is stored in a teaching data storage means 150 in a controller 100 synchronously with distance information from a starting point of a slope-descending road to be input from a distance sensor 75. In the reproduction, the data set by the setting switches 50a and 50b is read from the teaching data storage means 150 by a reproduction means 160 synchronously with the distance information from the starting point of the slope-descending road to be input from the distance sensor 75, and the braking quantity is controlled so that the actual vehicle speed is matched with the target slope-descending speed.
