PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer system capable of recognizing that there is no paper sheet even when the paper sheet wrapped by a wrapping paper sheet is set in a paper feeding device. SOLUTION: The printer system comprises a recording device having a paper feeding means for feeding the paper sheet to a printing section sheet by sheet, and a paper wrapping material having a wrapping material for wrapping one sheet or a plurality of sheets of paper. The recording device or the paper feeding means has a light emitting means for emitting light toward the paper sheet, and transmission of light of the wrapping material is higher than that of the paper sheet. When the paper sheet is set in a paper placing section of the feeding device while being wrapped by the wrapping material, a transparent section is disposed in a part facing the light emitting means between the paper placing section of the wrapping material and the paper sheet.
