PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To link data prepared by a plurality of processes and to unify the method of handling the data.

SOLUTION: A data management system 80 is provided with a conversion parameter table indicating the relation of the respective data prepared by a plurality of processes and a conversion module of converting the data corresponding to the process of a conversion origin to a format corresponding to the process of a conversion destination on the basis of the conversion parameter table. When the data corresponding to the process of picking 12 are selected as the conversion source and the process of estimation 13 is selected as the conversion destination by a user, the data management system 80 prepares the converted data by executing the corresponding conversion module and stores them in a storage location corresponding to the process of the conversion destination. This invention can be applied to a personal computer.
