PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a debugging device that can sufficiently lower the development cost of a program by keeping a source program structurally uncomplicated and reducing labor for debugging the source program. SOLUTION: The debugging device 1 reads out and uses debugging information described in a comment in a source program to single-step the source program. Information correlating an input value given to the executed step and an expected resultant value is described as the debugging information in the source program. The source program causes no structural complication and almost no increase in labor for creation and correction. A plurality of input values can be described in the comment as the debugging information, so that only description of many input values can facilitate high reliability debugging.
