PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability by eliminating reduction of detection accuracy in long term use when weight of an entire cabinet is measured for weight measurement of a heated material. SOLUTION: A damper filled with gas is disposed in a leg for supporting the cabinet, inner pressure change of the damper is detected by a differential pressure sensor, and the weight of the heated material is measured. Occurrence of gas leakage causes reduction of the detection accuracy of the weight, so that the gas leakage of the damper is always detected by a gas leakage detecting sensor. When increase of the gas leakage amount is detected, a gas supply valve is turned on. Gas is supplied from a gas cylinder and refilled into the damper. When sufficient gas is refilled, weight detection is restarted. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
