PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a genetic amplification reaction monitor enabling real time measurement almost free from time-lag without causing evaporation of a sample liquid or change of a liquid level due to dew formation (reliquefaction) and capable of readily attaching a sample container. SOLUTION: In the apparatus for monitoring the extent of genetic amplification in real time, a plurality of containers for genetic amplification reaction are installed so as to carry out rotation and these containers for genetic amplification reaction are each fixed on a surface perpendicular to a rotation shaft and at least a pair of optical systems are installed therein.
