PURPOSE: A cap for a flute is provided to prevent the surface of the flute from being oxidized by storing the flute in the cap made of PVC. CONSTITUTION: When a flute is not being used, the flute is stored in a cap made of PVC(3) in order to prevent the surface of the flute from being oxidized. The thickness of the cap is set to 1mm in such a manner that the cap is prevented from being significantly deformed when manipulating the cap by hand. The cap has a size identical to a size of a lid thereof in order to prevent air from penetrating into the cap. A desiccant(4) is provided in the cap.
