MANHOLE COVER FOR RADIO COMMUNICATION, RADIO COMMUNICATION DATA COLLECTOR, AND DATA COLLECTING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manhole cover for radio communication, which can be easily worked, has no protrusion, can secure necessary strength, and has an antenna function with good radio characteristics. SOLUTION: In a manhole 2 provided with the manhole cover 1 for the radio communication, there is installed a radio communication data collector 3 which is composed of: a data collector 3b for collecting information on an underground installation detected by a sensor 6; and a radio set 3a for radio- transmitting the information on the underground installation, collected by the data collector 3b in accordance with a command signal from an aboveground base station 7. A slot 1a with a prescribed length is formed in the manhole cover 1 and excited by the transmission output of the radio set 3a. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
