PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone set in which even an unskilled person can freely originate and register a telephone call although a multifunctional telephone set is the mainstream at present, the number of operating buttons is increased therewith and button operations are complicated for the unskilled person. SOLUTION: A number represented by originating a telephone call from a caller and his/her name, if possible, are registered within the telephone set and a card recorded with a readable code is outputted. Thereby, when the caller desires to originate a telephone call again, the card is inserted into a code reader attached to the telephone set and data such as a telephone number are read, so that automatic dialing is made possible without operating any button. A two-dimensional or one-dimensional data code is printed for recording onto the card, so that the card is prepared inexpensively in comparison with magnetism or the like. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
