PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase springs of machinable shapes. SOLUTION: In this machine, a spring is manufactured by feeding a wire from the final wire guide 7 into a wire machining space 5 which is formed in front of the perpendicular front wall 3 of the machine frame 2 and then, by applying a prescribed machining to the wire so fed or being fed into the wire machining space 5 by means of a tool projecting or projected into the space 5. In front of the perpendicular front wall 3, a crosswise moving base 9 is installed in a manner freely movable crosswise. On this crosswise moving base 9, a tool mounting device 21 is provided which is designed to mount a tool 22 to face toward the final wire guide 7. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
