PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a title bar for an optical disk storage case in which a title can easily be displayed on the backbone part of the thin optical disk storage case, and also to provide a title printer used for the same. SOLUTION: The optical disk storage case 40 having thickness of 5 mm comprises a lid 41 and a bottom 42. A title bar 10 on which the title is printed is mounted in the space 44 inside the backbone part 41a of the optical disk storage case 40. Title characters with a size of 6 pt.-7 pt. are printed on the display surface for the title of the title bar 10 with the printer. The display surface for the title is mounted in the space 44 of the storage case 40 so as to direct the surface having the printed title toward the backbone part 41a. The title bar 10 is provided with protrusions at both the ends in the longitudinal direction thereof. These protrusions are fitted to the respective holes of hinges 43 of the storage case 40 such that the title bar 10 is fitted to the storage case 40. One end is fitted with a spring configuration which can expand or contract in the longitudinal direction, thus the title bar 10 is prevented from dropping out when impact is imparted to the storage case 40.
