PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod having improved sensitivity. SOLUTION: A reel seat 2 is formed on the outer circumference of a pipe frame 1 and a rear grip 3 is placed immediately behind the reel seat 2. When a rod 4 is coaxially inserted from the front end of the frame 1, the rod 4 is supported at two points by support members 5 in the frame 1 to form a space 6 between the support members 5 in the frame 1. Accordingly, when the rod 4 is vibrated according to the state of a lure, the frame 1 is resonated with the rod 4 and the amplitude of the oscillation transmitted through the rod is amplified and transmitted to the frame 1 to improve the sensitivity of the fishing rod.
