PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice portal system capable of reducing a call charge, acquiring object information in a short time and relieving the load. SOLUTION: An on-vehicle unit 11 is connected to a voice portal center 12 through a mobile phone and acquires, in an interactive form, information provided by the voice portal center 12. The on board unit 11 recognizes voice uttered by a user, converts recognized voice data into a text as voice text data. The on board unit 11 generates packet data to transmit voice text data to the voice portal center 12 via a mobile phone network. The voice portal center 12 receives the packet data sent from the on board unit 11, extracts the voice text data from the packet data and applies semantic analysis to the voice text data.
