PURPOSE: A bill release apparatus of an automatic teller machine(ATM) is provided, which makes the whole quantity of bills in the inside released. CONSTITUTION: A cabinet(11) has a release hole(12) to release bills on its one side. A pressure plate(17) is arranged in the inside of the cabinet and presses the bill in the cabinet toward the release hole. A spring member(19) applies an elastic force to the pressure plate so that the pressure plate presses the bill. A bill sensing lever(21) is combined to the cabinet so that it moves between a withdrawal position and a projection position. An elastic unit(23) applies an elastic force to the bill sensing lever. A sensing sensor(25) senses a position of the bill sensing lever. And a control part(27) controls to output information to the external when the bill sensing lever exists on the projection position. |
