A friction clutch including a drive element (7) for driving the rotation of at least one centrifugal mass (5) around a given axis (X2), together with an associated friction surface (12) and elastic return element (6) that pulls it towards the said given axis (X2). The clutch also includes a driven element (14) capable of rotating around the said given axis (X2) and equipped with a skirt surface (13) which can be dragged by the friction surfaces (12) of the centrifugal masses (5) that move away from the said given axis (X2), overcoming the return forces of the elastic elements (6). At least one of the elastic elements (6) has a first end (6a) cooperating with the centrifugal mass (5) and a second end (6b). An adjustment structure (15), carrying at least one engagement formation (15b) for the second end (6b) of the said elastic element (6), is mounted to rotate around the drive element (7). The adjustment structure (15) can be selectively locked (18) with respect to the drive element (7) in a number of adjustment positions, selected via a generic vernier mechanism, each adjustment position determining a corresponding return force exerted by the elastic element (6). <IMAGE>
