TEST PRIORITY DERIVATION SUPPORT METHOD FOR SOFTWARE SYSTEM, TEST CASE DESIGNING SUPPORT METHOD, AND ITS SUPPORT PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a test case designing support method for a software system which can test important functions preferentially and selectively. SOLUTION: The test case designing support method has a specifications item characteristic value setting process of setting characteristic values based upon evaluation viewpoints of the system by specifications items extracted from specifications of the software system, a test strategy generating process of generating test strategies defining which of the evaluation viewpoints importance is attached to, a test strategy selecting process of selecting a test strategy to be applied to a test of the software system among the generated test strategies, a test priority deriving process of deriving test priority for determining specifications items to be tested preferentially according to the set characteristic values and the selected test strategy, and a test case designing process of designing a test case according to the test priority.
