PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compression molded detergent which has compatibility between the mechanical strength resisting it from disintegrating even if it falls off a some height and the disintegrability allowing it to disintegrate easily even at a low temperature. SOLUTION: The compression molded detergent is formed by compressing a detergent granule with a disintegrating agent granule to mold and has an inter-particle void fraction of 0.5-15%. The preferable embodiment includes a compression molded detergent which has an inter-particle void fraction of 1-7%, contains an adhesion promoting agent, or contains an adhesion inhibiting agent.
