PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new colored compound (triphenylmethane compound) having good hue and fastness to light, heat, humidity, etc., and to provide an oil-based ink, water-based ink, image recording method, dispersion and colored photosensitive composition each using the above compound. SOLUTION: This triphenylmethane compound is shown by the general formula (1) (Ar<1> and Ar<2> are each independently an aryl or heterocyclic group; -Z<1> =, -Z<2> =, and -Z<3> = are each CR= or -N=; R is H, an alkyl, aryl, heterocyclic group, acyl, alkoxy, hydroxy, halogen atom or acylamino; Mt1 is a metal atom; Y and X are each group ionically bindable to Mt1; A<-> is a counteranion; m is the valence of the metal atom, being an integer of 1-4; n is an integer of 1-4, wherein m>=n). The other objective ink, image recording method, triphenylmethane compound dispersion and colored photosensitive composition each using the triphenylmethane compound are provided, respectively. |
