PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a position shift by making the shift less than a distance corresponding to resolution and to prevent gray coloring. SOLUTION: The image forming device which has a reference mark for positioning toner images of respective colors in image superposition and also has an intermediate transfer body where multi-color writing by a plurality of laser light sources and development are performed and visualized toner images are transferred one after another, is equipped with a synchronous detection and reference mark signal phase detection part 71 which detects the writing start position of the laser beam at the head among a plurality of laser beams and the reference mark and a clock generation and control part 72 which varies the driving clock frequency of a position control motor 70 driving and rotating an image formation medium and the intermediate transfer body according to the relative position relation between a detected synchronous signal and a detected reference mark detection signal. |
