PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fryer safe for replenishing oil, and capable of preventing oil from being oxidized, which makes it possible to continue frying operation without falling down of cooking oil temperature when a solid oil is fed during the frying operation. SOLUTION: The fryer 1 is provided with heating bodies 3 in an oil vessel 4. A corner of the oil vessel is vertically partitioned by a first partitioning plate 12, and a second partitioning plate 23 is horizontally placed under the heating bodies. An upper edge of the first partitioning plate is projected from the oil surface 13, and a lower edge of the first partitioning plate communicates with the second partitioning plate. An upper face open container 16, which rotates freely, is removably installed in an upper part of a replenishing oil vessel 15, and after the solid oil is stored, it is rotated and sunk in the replenishing oil vessel, and then a lid 20 is put on the replenishing oil vessel.
