The assembly consists of a central sprocket (A) driven by a motorised half shaft (F) and connected to wheel sprockets (E) via a double chain (B) with tensioners (C) fixed to a triangular support (D). When one of the wheels becomes blocked, the other two take over and allow the obstacle to be surmounted. A wheelchair is fitted with one three-wheel assembly on each side, with the dimensions of the components determined by the power of the motor and speed of travel.
