CAR FRAME OF ELEVATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car frame of an elevator capable of setting the ceiling height dimension of a car to a high dimension. SOLUTION: An equipment box 7 is stored in the recessed part 3a of an upper frame 3 formed of a member of channel shape in cross section to prevent the equipment box 7 from being projected upward from the car frame 10. Thus the ceiling height dimension of the car can be set to a high dimension while assuring a safe dimension set between the upper end of the car and the ceiling of a building, thereby a comfortable car environment with less oppressive feeling can be realized.
