<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the time and labor for the preparation operation of connection, when connecting a branch pipe, a valve, and the like to the middle of a replacement pipe, while protecting the replacement pipe at a pipe wall section. SOLUTION: The pipe-splitting tool E that is inserted from one end side of the buried pipe A in a transfer range is moved; a crack G1 along the longitudinal direction of the pipe is provided at plural locations in the peripheral direction of the buried pipe; at the same, time plural pipe wall sections A1 are displaced relatively toward the outside in the pipe diameter direction in the peripheral direction of the pipe that is divided by the crack; and a replacement pipe B is withdrawn into the pipe wall section, in the non open-cut transfer method of buried pipe. The pipe-splitting tool that is inserted into the buried pipe is moved, while the traveling direction forward section is being retained nearly at a constant posture to the buried pipe for providing cracks in series, at the same time, a rear end side 18 in the traveling direction of the pipe-splitting tool at the pipe wall section is displaced toward the outer side in the direction of the pipe diameter nearly at the constant position of the pipe-splitting tool so that bending moment required for breaking operates the pipe wall section along the peripheral direction of the pipe operates.</p> |
