PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interior wall in which an air conditioner or the like is installed without confirming the position of furring strips or columns. SOLUTION: This interior wall using a plaster board 6 is formed with a substrate first layer directly fitted with the plaster board 6 having the thickness of 9.5 mm or below to a column 2-1 and a substrate second layer fitted with the plaster board 6 having the nominal thickness of 9.5 mm or below to the surface of the substrate first layer. A structural plywood 10 having the nominal thickness of 9 mm or below is used as part of the substrate first layer, and the structural plywood 10 of the substrate first layer is preferably fitted from the upper end section of the interior wall to 1,000 mm.
