<p>In a conventional DL rate matching parameter calculation scheme in a W-CDMA system, the number of rate matching output bits D is calculated for all TFC#j in the 2nd phase, and compared with the number of wirelessly transmittable bits Ndata,*. Therefore, more time has to be consumed in proportion to the number of TFCs. In the present invention, whether to update the number of repetition/puncture bits DELTA Ni,l<TTI> in each TTI radio frame is determined only for TFC whose number of rate matching output bits D becomes maximum(S11, S12). If updating is required, the number of repetition/puncture bits DELTA Ni,j per radio frame is recalculated from the number of rate matching input bits(S12). The number of repetition/puncture bits DELTA Ni,l <TTI> in each TTI calculated in the 1st phase is decreased by one bit per radio frame for update(S13). <IMAGE></p> |
