The adjustable device for the carburettor control cable (10) of a combustion engine (3) consist of a pull cord (11) that is connected with a positioning member (30) of a carburettor (4) which, under the intermediate joining of a spacer piece (6), is fixed to the inlet of the combustion engine. There is a tension piece (5) that is rotatably mounted on the spacer piece via bolts (12). A section of the pull cord rests on the turnable arm (31) of the tension piece, whilst the tension piece is held in a unit in a support (29). The level of the tension piece can be adjusted by means of a position screw (14) that lies radially from the bolt and can be screwed from the arm in the direction of the support.
