PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device using a flexible substrate which can carry out bright and high-quality display. SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal display device 1, a liquid crystal layer 30 is held between a pair of substrates 10, 20 having flexibility disposed facing each other, and many recesses whose each inner face forming a part of a sphere are continuously formed on the surface of the substrate 10 in the liquid crystal layer 30 side. |
