PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take an electric power supply for control out of private power generation power, while not having an adverse effect on an output waveform, in a power generator such as a cogeneration device. SOLUTION: An inverter device 13, after an output A.C. of an engine generator 10 is converted to a DC, converts to an A.C. with a predetermined frequency by an inverter circuit 133 and then the output A.C. from the inverter device 13 is connected to an system electric power supply 14. When an engine 11 is not in operation, the power received from a connection part between the inverter device 13 and the system electric power supply 14 is rectified by a rectifier 141 and then supplied to a control power source 140. With the voltage on the input side of the inverter circuit 133 being set higher than that on the system side, after starting up the engine, an automatic changeover is made such that the control power source 140 receives the power from the input side of the inverter circuit 133. |
