PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the camera button operation system of a digital camera with which the cost reduction and miniaturization are attained by eliminating the need for packaging a normally arranged button, and button operation can be carried out intuitively. SOLUTION: Mode display is performed at the mode status display area 1a of a liquid crystal display part 1, by depressing the menu button of the digital camera. The various kinds of virtual buttons are displayed at a lower area 1b. The virtual buttons are selected, by depressing upper and lower and right and left buttons. The condition content of the function of the virtual button selected is displayed at the specified position of the mode status display area 1a, by depressing a decision button. The condition contents is displayed orderly, and also display thereof is decided by depressing the decision button one by one. The number of operation buttons actually arranged is reduced and intuitive operation is carried out with the display at the liquid crystal panel. |
