PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device capable of high-precision automatic exposure adjusting. SOLUTION: The image processing device is provided, which comprises an image reading means 44 for reading an original image, and an electronic image processing part which records the image based on the read image data. Here, there are provided a power varying means 722 which enlarges or reduces the image, and automatic exposure means 724 and 725 which correct brightness of the image according to the concentration of the image data. If the magnifying power-varying rate of the image exceeds a prescribed magnification, the image data is treated with an image enlarging process before automatic exposure adjusting. If the power-varying rate of the image is less than prescribed, the image data is treated with an image reduction process after the automatic exposure adjusting process. |
