PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low cost motor controller which can control the torque with higher precision by reducing the variations in of a DC brushless motor itself and temperature change. SOLUTION: A target current setting unit 1 and a current control unit 2 handle the motor 3 by converting it to an equivalent circuit including a first armature located on the q-axis as the magnetic flux direction of field and a second armature crossing the q-axis at the right angle. The target current setting unit 1 comprises a torque compensating means 11 for calculating the amount of torque compensation to adjust the torque of the motor 3 depending on the difference between the target phase power (Pf-c) preset by a current setting map 10 and an actual power (Pf-r) detected by an actual phase power detecting unit 30 based on the actual Id current (Id-s), actual Iq current (Iq-s), the target Vd voltage (Vd-c) and the target Vq voltage (Vq-c), and for compensating for the target Id current (Id-c) as the target value of the Id current flowing into the second armature of the motor with amount of torque compensation. |
