<p>The present invention relates to a new method for determining genetic traits of improved breed animal embryos prioir to their implantation into a female carrier. More particularly the invention provides a new process for predicitng the sex by detecting single nucleotide polymorphisms and microsatellite markers on the X chromosome. Furthermore, the invention provides the opportunity to analyse simultaneously the sex, the parentage and other genetic traits of the embryo.</p> |
