PURPOSE: Provided are a mineral-containing functional beverage made from loess-water and its manufacturing method, thereby relieving zinc deficiency and consequently improving the absorption of vitamin A and vitamin E in a body. CONSTITUTION: The manufacturing method comprises the steps of: drying loess in the sun then powdering it; dispersing 3.47-4.24 wt.% of loess powder in 95.76-96.53 wt.% of water in a stainless steel distiller(1) having a two step condensor of distilled water(4); then heating and distilling it to obtain zinc-containing distilled water.
