PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distribution measuring apparatus which corresponds to a high-density DNA probe array. SOLUTION: A plurality of irradiation spots 101a, 101b, and so on are formed on the DNA probe array 2, which is placed on a stage 20. The stage is moved in the X-direction and the Y-direction so as to be scanned, and nearly the whole probe array is irradiated. A plurality of fluorescence emissions, generated by the plurality of irradiation spot parts on the probe array, are condensed so as to be detected simultaneously by a multidetector 17, and detected signals are processed by a data processing means 19 so as to reconstruct an image.
